This very finely ground, white sesame flour is made entirely from sesame seeds. It contains around 15% fibre and is also rich in protein and minerals, such as iron, zinc and magnesium.
The mild, nutty flavour is slightly sweet and therefore lends itself to being used in sweet baking. This seed-based flour can even also be used in place of tahini, to make a lower fat version of houmous.
This sesame flour is low-fat, because it is pressed before milling.
