Savoury Pumpkin & Carrot Porridge

  Organic Jumbo Oats (2kg) - Sussex WholeFoods
1/2 Cup Jumbo Oats

  100% Pure Pumpkin Puree 425g (American Food Company)
2 Tbsp Pumpkin Puree

  Organic Pumpkin Seeds (1kg) - Sussex WholeFoods
To Sprinkle

  Onion Powder 200g (Sussex Wholefoods)
1 Tsp Onion Powder

  Organic Cumin Powder 100g (Sussex Wholefoods)
1/2 Tsp

  Pink Himalayan Salt, Fine 1kg (Naturita)
To Taste

Other Ingredients

  • 175ml Water
  • 1 Medium Carrot


  1. Add the oats, pumpkin puree and the water to a saucepan. Stir. Bring to a boil then simmer for few minutes, depending on how thick you like your porridge.
  2. Add onion powder and cumin powder.
  3. Grate or thinly slice a carrot and add to your porridge. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Cook for about 1 minute.
  4. Sprinke with pumpkin seeds and enjoy hot.
