Chocolate Orange Smoothie
- Delicious, pudding-like smoothie.
- Dairy-free, sweetened with dates and banana.
- Chocolate orange flavour with a velvety texture.
- A great afternoon pick-me-up!
2-3 Tbsp Raw Cacao Powder
1 tsp Orange Extract, pure orange oil in dilution.
1 small handful of (soak overnight, if time) Cashew Nuts, cashews add a natural creaminess with their vegetable-based fats.
1 tsp Chia Seeds
240ml Almond Milk
1 tsp Cacao Nibs
4 Medjool Dates, soft, succulent and sweet. The natural sugars found in dates add sweetness to the cacao.
- 1 medium Banana
- Chop the peeled banana into a liquidiser.
- Add the dates along with the remaining dry ingredients.
- Pour over the Almond Milk and add the Orange Extract. (You can always add more Almond Milk to achieve a thinner consistency.)
- Blend for 20-30 seconds, then serve.
