Quick Fruit Kebabs with Sweet Dips
- Makes enough for 6-8 kebabs
- A fruit-based snack for all the family.
- Choose your favourite fruits, nut butter and natural flavourings
Almond Butter, Organic, Roasted 350g (Biona)
2 Tbsp Almond Butter
Organic Cacao Powder (1kg) - Sussex WholeFoods
1 tsp Cacao powder
Spanish Orange Blossom Honey, Clear 350g (Honeycomb)
1 tsp of Orange Blossom Honey
Organic Coconut Sugar (1kg) - Sussex Wholefoods
2 Tbsp of Coconut Sugar
½ tsp of Pumpkin Pie Spice
Other Ingredients
- 1 small pear
- 1 eating apple
- 8 strawberries
- 12-14 large red grapes
Method
- Wash all the fruit and pat dry with kitchen roll. Chop the pear and apple into skewer sized chunks.
- Slide the chunks of fruit onto each skewer in attractive patterns.
- Lay out on a serving plate, platter or tray.
- Mix up the coconut sugar and the Pumpkin Spice and pour into a cake case or little dip dish. Then in a small bowl mix up the almond butter, honey and cacao powder into a smooth paste. Transfer into a cake case or dip dish.
- Place the dips alongside. Now eat!
- Best prepared and eaten fresh. The spiced sugar and chocolate almond dip can be prepared in advance hours or even days ahead.
