Brenda's Post-Workout Protein Power Smoothie

This smoothie is absolutely perfect for after a hefty gym workout. It's loaded with carbs, protein, sugars and nutrients - everything your body needs to recover from a particularly tough exercise session.

This smoothie is also extremely delicious - it tastes just like a thick milkshake especially if you use a flavoured protein powder such as vanilla!

Two glasses of light brown protein smoothie with yellow paper straws and bananas, cinnamon and almonds surrounding it.

Method

  1. Put all ingredients into a blender. It must be a powerful blender to achieve a smooth consistency!
  2. Decant, carefully into your favourite glass or bowl. Top with your favourite toppings.
  3. Drink Up!
