Plantain Herb 100g (Sussex Wholefoods)
Dried Plantain Herb (Plantago major)
Dried whole herb of common plantain (Plantago major). Suitable for use in herbal teas, infusions, and tinctures. Mild, slightly herbal flavour. Packed in Sussex. Suitable for vegans and vegetarians. Directions
- Use about 1 teaspoon per cup.
- Heat fresh water to a rolling boil.
- Pour the boiling water over the plantain leaves in a teapot or mug.
- Allow the tea to steep for about 10-15 minutes.
- If desired, strain the tea to remove any plant matter.
- Add honey or lemon to taste, as plantain tea can be bitter.
