Directions

  • Use about 1 teaspoon per cup.
  • Heat fresh water to a rolling boil.
  • Pour the boiling water over the plantain leaves in a teapot or mug.
  • Allow the tea to steep for about 10-15 minutes.
  • If desired, strain the tea to remove any plant matter.
  • Add honey or lemon to taste, as plantain tea can be bitter.
