Organic Ashwagandha Root (Withania somnifera)

Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) is a perennial shrub native to India and parts of Africa. The cut and dried root has a bitter, earthy flavour and is used in traditional Ayurvedic herbal preparations. It can be simmered in water for 15-20 minutes to make a herbal tea, optionally combined with ginger or cinnamon, or strained and added to smoothies. This product is certified organic. Suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

Directions

For general adult use, prepare a tea or infusion by simmering 1-2g (about ½-1 teaspoon) of cut ashwagandha root in hot water for 10-15 minutes; consume once daily.

Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage.
