Mediterranean Style Grains with Freekeh, Tomato & Olive
We've cooked wheatberries, freekeh and long grain brown rice in a rich, herby tomato sauce with red pepper and black olives to create this moreish mix. Packed with plant-protein and fibre, these Mediterranean grains are the perfect addition to salads, BBQ dishes or roasted veg.
Simple to prepare: Can be enjoyed hot or cold.
- Microwave: Squeeze the pouch to loosen the grains. Tear a 2cm opening at the top and heat for 90s at 1000W or 2 mins at 700W.
- Hob: Empty contents into a pan and heat through with a dash of water.
Squeeze the pouch to loosen the grains. For best results, heat through in a pan with a dash of water. Otherwise, tear a 2cm opening at the top and microwave for 45s at 900w, or simply enjoy them cold.
Store in a cool dry place, once opened refrigerate and eat within 3 days.
