100% Pure Kombu Flakes

  • Ready-to-use flakes of Kombu sea vegetable.
  • Kombu is a type of Kelp seaweed rich in Iodine.
  • An Umami flavouring, use as a salt alternative.
  • Add Kombu when cooking dried beans to reduce cooking time.
  • Sustainably harvested from the shores of the UK and Ireland.
This handy tin with integrated shaker makes it simple to include seaweed in your diet. Remember that dried seaweed will expand to several times its size and can simply be stirred into any soup, stew or broth. Kombu is naturally high in Iodine and Magnesium so offers an easy way to add extra nutrients to your meals.

These Kombu flakes have a smooth-tasting special "umami" taste and make the ideal seasoning for bouillon. Perfectly suited to accompanying fish, shellfish and all manner of vegetables.

A suggested serving size per person is between ½ tsp-1 tsp.

Ingredients:

100% Pure Kombu [Laminaria Digitata] Seaweed.
