Organic Ginger Essential Oil for culinary use

The distinctive warm and spicy flavour of ginger root [Zingiber officinale] is ideal for adding a kick to sweet recipes such as home made chocolate or cookies. This means you can avoid the added sugar that comes with using crystallized ginger root.

The ginger flavour is highly concentrated so only one or two drops are required when cooking. For best results stir into wet ingredients first in order to disperse the oil evenly. Add to the chocolate after you have sweetened the melted mix. Try adding one drop first and tasting as this, as it is a potent oil!
