One popular and nutritious speciality from the sunny Mediterranean region is Giant Butter Beans in Tomato Sauce, called "Gigantes" in Greece. It's a delicious traditional recipe which uses selected white giant butter beans, sun-ripened tomatoes and other natural herbs and spices, cooked in a tasty sauce that you will love! Giant Butter Beans in Tomato Sauce is a great source of protein!
Serving Suggestions:
It is best served warm (microwave contents for about 2 min at 400W) or at room temperature as an exceptional meal or appetiser. It makes an excellent combination with dry red wine or Ouzo.
