Quick Falafel Mix

  • Cooks in 10 minutes.
  • Delicious and moreish.
  • Makes 12 standard-sized falafels.
  • Vegan-friendly.

Directions

  1. Empty sachet into a bowl.
  2. Mix thoroughly with 75ml of cold water.
  3. Leave to stand for 5 minutes.
  4. Stir again.
  5. Shape into 12 walnut-sized balls. You may need to dust your hands with flour for this bit.
  6. Shallow-fry for 4-5 minutes.
Ingredients
Breadcrumbs (30%) (fortified wheatflour [wheatflour, calcium carbonate, iron, niacin, thiamin], yeast, salt), gram flour (20%), lentil flour (12%), dried onion, pea protein, ground spices (6.5%) (coriander, cumin, chilli powder ginger, cinnamon), dried apricots (6%) (apricots, preservative [sulphur dioxide]), dried herbs (parsley, oregano, mint) palm oil, dried garlic.
