This spread is made almost entirely from Roasted Cashew Nuts with just a little cold pressed Sunflower Oil. Cashew nuts naturally contain a good amount of Calcium per 100g and this will also be found in Carley's Cashew Nut Butter.
You can use this spread straight from the jar for a snack or as part of a lunchtime sandwich. Cashew nut butter can also be used in your cooking. For example try making a savoury sauce, similar to Satay Sauce, but using cashew nuts instead. Coat your meat or vegetables with this sauce and either stir-fry or barbecue.
Cashew nut butter is also a tasty ingredient in sweet recipes. For example, try add a few tablespoons of cashew nut butter into a biscuit or flapjack recipe to add a smooth, nutty flavour and some moistness.
No added sugar, no added salt.
Spread on crispbread, oat cakes and bread.
Use in sweet and savoury cooking.
