What is Carob?

The Carob bean is a sweet tasting ingredient which is often used as an alternative to chocolate or coffee. It contains less fat and no caffeine.This bar contains no added sugar and is sweetened by the carob itself, with a little natural enhancement from vanilla flavouring. Siesta Carob bars contain no dairy or any animal produce. This makes it suitable for vegans, vegetarians and those with a dairy or gluten intolerance.
Ingredients
non-hydrogenated vegetable fat (palm, palm kernel), inulin, carob, emulsifier - sunflower lecithin; flavouring Natural Oil of Peppermint. This product has been produced in a nut free environment. However, it cannot be guaranteed that it does not contain nut traces.
