Chamomile tea is probably one of the most soothing herbal infusions. It is an ideal pre-bedtime drink as it is relaxing and contains no caffeine. It has a delicate, sweet floral flavour that is gentle on the palate.
Use freshly boiled water and allow the teabag to brew for a few minutes. Remove the teabag when you have achieved the required strength. This camomile infusion can be sweetened with honey or another sweet syrup if you wish.
