Halva is a traditional sweet, or candy, made from sesame seed paste (otherwise known as tahini). Halva originates from the Middle East and can be comparable to fudge. It is the perfect dessert to go along with afternoon tea, or it can be broken up and mixed in with other desserts - such as ice cream.
