Description
  • Popular in Korean cuisine.
  • Strong, spicy flavour with a hint of sweetness.
  • Packed in Sussex.
  • Use to make a variety of dishes, such as kimchi, bibimbap, and tteokbokki.
  • Good source of vitamins A and C.
  • Also has antioxidant properties.
  • Great in other dishes, such as soups, stews, and stir-fries.
  • 2kg bulk pack.

Experience the fiery and distinctive flavour of Korean cuisine with our Gochugaru Chili Powder! Sourced from red chili peppers, this vibrant spice adds depth, colour, and a kick of heat to your dishes. Our Gochugaru Chili Powder captures the true essence of Korean cooking - a perfect balance of heat and smokiness.

Perfect for creating kimchi, stir-fries, stews, or sauces! This chili powder will bring a delightful warmth to any recipe and can enhance the visual appeal with the brilliant red colour that Gochugaru adds. Every plate will be a feast for the eyes.

Directions
  • Sprinkle: Add a pinch of Gochugaru to marinades, dressings, or seasoning blends.
  • Infuse: Incorporate Gochugaru into soups, stews, or sautés for a deep, smoky heat.
  • Experiment: Unleash your creativity by experimenting with Gochugaru in a variety of dishes to discover new taste dimensions.

We recommend you start with a small amount and add more to taste, since Gochugaru can be very spicy. So be careful not to overdo it, unless you are well adept to spicy dishes. This product can be used to flavour both savoury and sweet recipes.

Ingredients
Korean chili pepper (Capsicum annuum).
