Directions

Use this ground garam masala as you would use curry powder. Garam masala is generally added together with chilli, just after the initial cooking of any meat/vegetables in the dish. Add liquid at the same time, and cook until the liquid is reduced to your satisfaction. This garam masala helps to thicken out the liquid, due to the presence of coriander and cumin in the mix.
