Chai Latte

  • This vegan chai latte tastes just like the one from your favourite coffee shop.
  • Quick and easy to make.
  • Makes enough for 4 servings.

Ingredients

  Organic Ceylon Cinnamon Powder (100g) - Sussex Wholefoods
1 tbsp Cinnamon Powder

  Ginger Powder 100g (Hampshire Foods)
1 tbsp Ginger Powder

  Ground Nutmeg 20g, Organic (Just Natural Herbs)
1/4 tsp Ground Nutmeg

  Ground Cardamom 50g (Hampshire Foods)
1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder

  Ground Cloves 50g (Hampshire Foods)
1/2 tsp Ground Cloves

  Organic Coconut Sugar (1kg) - Sussex Wholefoods
4 tsp Coconut Sugar

  Soya Drink 1L (Bonsoy)
200ml Soya Milk

Other Ingredients

  • Water

Method

  1. Prepare your chai mix - combine cinnamon, ginger powder, cloves, nutmeg and cardamom powder in a little bowl. Store your mix in an airtight container.
  2. Mix 1 teaspoon of your chai mix with a little hot water. Add 1 teaspoon of coconut sugar and stir until dissolved.
  3. Heat the milk in a small saucepan over a low heat until warm.
  4. Once lightly steaming, froth the milk with a frother or whisk to create some foam.
  5. Pour your hot milk into the glass with your chai and coconut sugar water.
  6. Sprinkle with cinnamon and enjoy!
