Coconut & Spelt Cacao Waffles

Ingredients (Healthy Supplies)

  Cacao Powder, Raw 1kg (Healthy Supplies)
20g Cacao Powder

  Spelt Flour, Organic 500g (Infinity Foods)
30g Spelt Flour

  Organic Coconut Flour, Gluten Free (1kg) - Sussex Wholefoods
20g Coconut Flour

  Ultimate Almond Drink, Organic 1 Litre (Rude Health)
100ml Almond Milk

  Borwicks Baking Powder 100g
½ tsp Baking Powder

  Chocolate Stevia Drops 50ml (Nutri Nick)
1 drop Chocolate Stevia Drops

  Maca Powder, Raw Organic 200g (Sussex Wholefoods)
1 tsp Maca Powder

  Virgin Coconut Oil, Organic 200g (Biona)
1 tbsp Coconut Oil (to oil the waffle iron)

Other Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • Suggested toppings: Greek Yoghurt, pomegranate seeds, raspberries, blueberries and Bee Pollen


  1. Heat your waffle maker. Brush the irons with coconut oil.
  2. Combine the egg, spelt flour, cacao powder, coconut flour, baking powder, maca powder and stevia in a bowl. Stir until well combined.
  3. When the waffle maker has heated up to the correct temperature, add the mixture and close the lid.
  4. Serve warm with your favourite toppings!
