Made from carefully processed cacao beans, this cacao powder delivers a pure, intense chocolate flavour in its most natural form. Unlike heavily processed cocoa, cacao powder is produced at lower temperatures, which helps preserve its rich, complex taste. Its deep, slightly bitter flavour adds richness to recipes without overwhelming sweetness.
Cacao powder is incredibly versatile in the kitchen. Blend it into smoothies for a chocolatey boost, stir it into warm plant-based milk for a comforting drink, or use it as a key ingredient in baking, desserts, and energy snacks. It pairs beautifully with bananas, berries, nut butters, spices like cinnamon and chilli, and natural sweeteners like honey or dates.
With 22.5g of protein per 100g and just 1g of sugar per 100g, cacao powder is a flavourful ingredient that works well in both everyday cooking and more indulgent recipes.
