Directions
Is the lunch box microwave safe?
Yes, the lunch box is microwave safe, but make sure you unfasten the lid, before microwaving. Two minutes maximum in one go and repeat if further heating is required.
Is the lunch box dishwasher safe?
Yes, the lunch box, inner dish and sauce pot are all dishwasher safe, please place them on the top rack.
Is the lunch box BPA and BPS free?
Yes, all parts of the lunch box are BPA and BPS free.
How do I open the lunch box, if a vacuum forms?
On the top of the lid, there is a vacuum release valve. Simply press the valve to allow air into your lunch box and the vacuum will be released.
What happens if my lunch box leaks?
Check the seal and make sure that it has not been compacted in any one area. Simply pull the silicon seal out and then reapply, making sure that it is not squashed too tightly at any point.
What happens if my sauce pot or inner dish leaks?
The sauce pot and inner dish are made from polypropylene. This is a great material, but it can deform easily and this makes it difficult to get non round seals always perfect. But luckily this can be fixed with boiling water. Submerge your sauce pot or inner dish in boiling hot water for 5 minutes. Then remove, shake off excess water (so you can hold it without burning yourself) and tightly clamp down the lid with your hands, making sure that you are squeezing it closed tightly. Do this for five minutes until it has cooled. This should solve the problem as the pot will have formed to the correct shape.
How do I remove stains?
If microwaving foods such as tomato sauce, it can leave a stubborn residue stain. This can be removed by applying bicarbonate of soda with a damp cloth to these stubborn stains.
