Raw Wholefood is a type of food that is made from natural, uncooked ingredients with little or no extra processing. In particular, the food is not exposed to cooking or any high-temperature processing. Heating food above around 42 degrees celsius tends to denature proteins, enzymes and other nutrients, and it is believed that raw wholefood is therefore more nutritious than cooked food.
Raw chocolate is excellent and tasty. Made with as little processing as possible, more of the nutrients within the cocoa are preserved, with all of the associated health benefits.
