Activated walnuts are a truly different experience to regular walnuts. The activation process removes the bitterness that you often find in walnuts. Sprouted walnuts are also darker than conventional walnuts - this is due to the tannins being extracted during the soaking process.

The nuts are then slowly dehydrated at a low temperature to preserve the nutrients and flavour. They are coated in smooth, rich chocolate.
