| | There are a huge number of drinks called "tea". These fall into 3 main categories:
- Tea is any blend of leaves made solely from the tea bush (Camellia sinensis). These are generally described on this site as tea or green tea.
- Herbal Tea, or herbal infusions, are teas made solely from things that are not the tea bush. These are generally described on this site as "herbal tea".
- Other types of tea, which have no name but are generally a mixture of the two. These are generally described on this site as "tea with..." or "green tea with...".
It's worth noting that herbal teas tend to be caffeine-free, which is why it's worth making the distinction. Of course, we'll also tell you which teas contain caffeine and which do not. | |
