Large pinch of Saffron strands

30g of Cashew nuts, ground into a powder

Ground Cardamom 50g (Hampshire Foods)

Ground Cardamom 50g (Hampshire Foods)

⅛-¼tsp Cardamom powder, according to taste

Other Ingredients

  • Fresh mint leaves, optional.

Method

  1. In a milk pan/non-stick saucepan pour the coconut milk drink and gently begin warming the liquid on the hob.
  2. Stir in the manuka honey, chia protein powder, rose water essence, saffron, ground cardamom and cashew nut powder.
  3. Bring to a slow simmer/gentle bubble. Allow the all the ingredients to infuse into the liquid for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Remove the pan from the heat and pour into mugs or heat proof glasses.
  5. Serve with a sprig of mint in each cup.
