Crazy Crunch [No Nut] Snack Crumble

  • No baking, just make on the hob.
  • Eat as a snack or as a breakfast cereal.
  • Makes around 280g-290g of sprinkle.

    Method

    1. Warm the rapeseed oil in a deep non-stick frying pan. Add the quinoa flakes and stir.
    2. Allow the oil to be absorbed by the quinoa flakes. Then add the buckwheat groats and maple syrup.
    3. Sitr until the ingredients are evenly coated. Allow the quinoa and buckwheat to lightly toast on the hob for 10-15 minutes.
    4. Keep checking the mix, so that it does not burn and stir gently. Reduce the heat if necessary.
    5. Once the flakes and groats are golden-medium brown, add the sunflower seeds, chopped apricots and mixed mulberries.
    6. Gradually coat all the ingredients. Keep the heat low, but steady.
    7. Once everything has melded together nicely, remove from the heat and transfer the mixture into a heat proof dish.
    8. Allow to cool a little before sprinkling over the shelled hemp seed.
    9. Allow to completely cool before storing in an airtight container
    10. Your snack, sprinkle or breakfast munch is now ready!
